Hey There! It's Good to see you here

I'm a Brazilian, born and raised in São Paulo, the largest city in Brazil. Growing up, I often felt overwhelmed by the city's lifestyle, where the focus seemed to be solely on work, career advancement, drinking, and partying.

While I somewhat enjoyed these aspects, I craved for something more fulfilling. I wanted to experience life to its fullest potential, which meant I needed a significant change.

So, I took a leap of faith. I switched my job, sold all my furniture, ended my apartment contract, and in early 2023, I embarked on a life-changing journey starting in South Africa.

Since then, I've learned a tremendous amount and realized that many people dream of doing something similar but need to figure out where to start. This realization inspired me to create this blog.

I aim to support and motivate you to pursue your dream, understanding firsthand the difficulty of taking the first step, especially without support.

Most asked questions

How do you manage to travel the world?

I work remotely as a Data Scientist for a regular company, which means I can do my job from anywhere. The only requirement is to work during the same hours as my company because I have a lot of meetings every day. This full-time job gives me a stable monthly paycheck, which is spent on my travels.

Do you know anyone in the countries you're visiting?

Not really! Most of the time, I don't know anyone. But I've never felt lonely on these trips. I always end up making new friends, and I still keep in touch with them. The trick is to step out of your comfort zone and start conversations with people you don't know. I've found that great things happen when you do that.

What is the biggest challenge you face living as a digital nomad?

The biggest challenge for me is finding a proper workplace! In some remote areas, the Wi-Fi could be better. It's also hard to find somewhere to stay with a comfortable chair and desk, so I need to be aware of my posture to not injure my back.
